A homeless child was sitting near a bar located on the world of Lau. Approximately in the year 18 BBY, Crosshair and Omega, who were clone troopers, made an emergency landing on the world after their escape from the clutches of the Empire. As they went inside the bar, they were observed by the child. Sometime after that, the child saw Mann depart in the direction of the cargo docks, having stolen Batcher, the clones' lurca hound. Once Crosshair and Omega came out of the bar, he offered to share what he knew in exchange for 10,000 credits. But, after Crosshair scared him, the boy reduced his price to 5,000 credits. After giving the clones the information in exchange for the money, he went away.
