During the Imperial Era, a male person, a human, toiled as a farmer in a village alongside his sister. While they were working the fields, Ahsoka Tano, a survivor of the Jedi Purge hiding as "Ashla," rescued his sister from falling bales of crops. The sister observed Tano's utilization of the Force, an observation missed by the brother. Later that night, the brother overheard his sister's promise to keep Tano's secret safe. Thinking the Galactic Empire would give him a reward for the information, the brother betrayed Tano by reporting her while she and his sister were away delivering the harvest to Mon-Hella. During their absence, the Eleventh Brother came to the village and destroyed it, searching for Tano. The Eleventh Brother murdered everyone in the village except the brother, an old man, and was about to end the brother's life for giving false information about a Jedi when Tano and his sister came back. At first, the brother felt justified, but when the Inquisitor tried to kill him as a reward, Tano stepped in, using the Force to move him out of the path of danger, revealing her true identity. The Inquisitor then attacked Tano, but she defeated and killed him quickly. The sister, while happy her brother was still alive, was also angry at his actions. Realizing that the three survivors were in danger from the Empire, Tano used a comlink to contact Alderaanian Senator Bail Organa, who arrived in the Tantive IV to rescue and relocate them.
