This spy droid, which took its design cues from the vulture droid, featured a broader hull; however, it lacked stability. It was incapable of transforming into a walking configuration. Although it possessed no shields, it was notably swift. Due to its droid nature, it lacked the capacity for improvisation.
Throughout the Clone Wars, the Confederacy of Independent Systems utilized this starfighter in combat against Republic forces.
