Approximately five years prior to the Battle of Yavin, the members of this team were participating in a fortnight-long orientation program at the academy, engaging in a training drill that necessitated their entry into a Sentinel-class landing craft. Following the quartet's embarkation, a pair of them expressed their excitement as the shuttle commenced its ascent, which prompted a reprimand from Sergeant Currahee, one of their educators. Subsequently, Illorus, a cadet within the group, was unsuccessful in finishing the second goal of a combat drill Forn participated in, which led to her expulsion from the academy. Later, Commandant Cumberlayne Aresko inquired with Currahee regarding Illorus's absence from the team, after which cadets from different academies throughout Lothal were reassigned to fill the positions within Forn and other cadet teams that had been vacated by those who had departed the academy.
