The ship, which could only hold five thousand people, was overflowing with approximately six thousand casualties. The orderly was trying his best to get the injured into bacta tanks as fast as he could.
As he navigated the hallways while carrying an injured person, an unknown woman stopped him. The orderly explained that he was in a hurry. When she mentioned she was searching for a friend, he explained the dire situation and mentioned that everyone probably had a friend among the wounded. She clarified that she wasn't searching for a typical soldier, but rather a specific individual belonging to SpecOps. He then advised her to look in Ward 114. He then continued through the crowd without saying another word.
The orderly's sole appearance was in the audio adaption of the short novel Dark Forces: Rebel Agent. Bill Slichter is credited for the role of "Orderly".
