The Unu functioned as the primary hive for all Killik hives. It was governed by a collective of Killiks/Joiners representing each hive, who themselves were under the direction of Raynar Thul (UnuThul). While this hive was considered the guiding moral compass for all other hives, the Gorog, also known as the Dark Nest, secretly held control over the Unu. Certain members also acted as UnuThul's protectors, however, they met their demise during the confrontation between Luke Skywalker, Raynar, and Lomi Plo in orbit above Tenupe.
