Talk pages

Kindly refrain from posting comments on talk pages that you deem "safe." The mere fact that they've appeared in TCW material doesn't automatically make the bulk of the information safe. Take Quinlan Vos as an example: only the details explicitly shown in the episode itself are considered "canon" under the updated guidelines. The rest falls under Legends. - Sir Cavalier of One(Squadron channel) 17:19, April 27, 2014 (UTC)

Although it might not have been intentional, your recent modification resulted in the removal of content from an article. Please exercise caution to avoid removing content from Wookieepedia without a legitimate justification, which should be included in the edit summary or on the article's discussion page. Thank you. There is absolutely no reason to remove content related to The Clone Wars from Legends articles. The Clone Wars TV series is present in both continuities. Thank you. Warning

Please cease adding the canon category to Legends articles. None of the existing articles should be marked as canon. These articles pertain to the Legends version of the subject, and the canon versions will be addressed in a separate, new article. Cade Calrayn 17:36, May 30, 2014 (UTC)

Togruta

Before you proceed with further edits, especially before you recreate Togruta/Canon once again, it's advisable to review the Manual of Style and the Layout Guide. Additionally, examining other articles could provide insights into the expected appearance of an article on Wookieepedia. Trip391 (talk) 07:03, August 6, 2014 (UTC)

Warning

Please refrain from creating empty canon articles. We are not here to clean up after you, and if you lack the time or willingness to create substantial articles, then avoid creating them altogether. Continuing this behavior may be considered vandalism, potentially leading to administrative action. Thank you. Cade Calrayn 18:20, August 7, 2014 (UTC)

  • To reiterate, if you lack information to include in an article, as demonstrated here or here, please refrain from creating it. Trip391 (talk) 23:07, December 23, 2014 (UTC)

Canon articles issues

Hello! I've observed that you've encountered some difficulties while attempting to assist us by creating new canon articles. The following information might prove helpful:

  • Remember to include the relevant "Eras" tag at the top of the page. Typically, if it's at /Canon, it should simply be "Eras." If it's located elsewhere, it becomes more intricate, and you might want to consult the guidelines for the Eras tag.
  • Please link to canon articles instead of Legends articles.
  • Avoid using direct links for sources. You may need to familiarize yourself with the formatting guidelines for posting such links.
  • When creating canon links, utilize piping to prevent "/Canon" from appearing on the page.
  • Ensure that you place your new article within one or more content categories.

Feel free to inquire if you have any questions regarding these matters. ProfessorTofty (talk) 00:23, November 7, 2014 (UTC)

Databank copying

Hey Ghidorafour. A recent article you created, Blixus, included content that was copied from the StarWars.com Databank. Please refrain from directly copying content from other websites, especially the Databank. This could potentially infringe on copyright laws, and Wookieepedia content should be unique. While you can certainly use the Databank as a reference to find information, avoid directly copying its text. If you have any questions about this, please let me know. Thanks! - Brandon Rhea(talk) 21:32, December 25, 2014 (UTC)

Z'gag edit

If the Canon article shares the same name but ends with "/Canon", then no modifications to the "Eras" tag are necessary. In fact, the edit you made caused the Canon tab to revert to the Legends article. ProfessorTofty (talk) 21:24, January 25, 2015 (UTC)
