Utility arm

Utility arms were cybernetic arms, affixed to armor, that engineers and technicians employed to boost their efficiency in workshops or provide assistance during battles. These mechanical extensions, resembling droid arms, terminated in a hand designed for manipulation. The genesis of these devices remains a mystery, although certain whispers suggest they were conceived by a Dug engineer or a cybernetics firm with excess inventory. The typical market price for utility arms was 2,000 credits, with prominent models like the Arakyd Industries Mk II Utility Manipulator and the Crozo Industrial Products H4 "Handy" Auxiliary Cyber-Arm being particularly noteworthy.

Production Notes

The debut of utility arms occurred in Fully Operational, a 2018 sourcebook created for the Star Wars: Age of Rebellion roleplaying game and released by Fantasy Flight Games.
