Varristad
Varristad, a minor planet dedicated to mining, was situated in the Varristad system. This system existed inside the Abrion sector, which itself was part of the Outer Rim Territories.
Description
Due to the absence of an atmosphere on the planet, the entire population resided within a massive habitation dome. This dome was under the ownership of a competitor to Offworld Mining Corporation. When Jemba the Hutt caused the dome to fail, the result was the killed of more than 250,000 individuals. Consequently, the company that was mining the world went out of business, allowing Offworld to secure the mining rights at a low cost.
