Violia

title: Violia

In the final century of the Galactic Republic, Violia, a female strong in the Force, served the Jedi Order. As Initiates training at the Jedi Temple located on Coruscant, she and Thame Cerulian, who would later become a Jedi Master, were friends. Unlike Cerulian, Violia was not chosen to be a Padawan. She was assigned to the Jedi Service Corps, specifically the Agricultural Corps, and sent to the agriworld of Dilonexa XXIII. Cerulian mentioned Violia's assignment in his personal copy of The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force, expressing a desire to see her again if the opportunity arose.

Biography

Violia, a female with sensitivity to the Force, was inducted into the Jedi Order early in life, having been born before 115 BBY. While training as a Jedi Initiate at the Jedi Temple situated on Coruscant, the capital of the Galactic Republic, she befriended Thame Cerulian, a fellow student who would eventually become a Jedi Master and a member of the High Council. Cerulian became an apprentice of Master Unskette, but Violia did not progress beyond the rank of Initiate to Padawan. The Council of Reassignment reassigned her to the Jedi Service Corps, placing her in the Agricultural Corps, a branch focused on maintaining healthy planetary biospheres and promoting crop growth using the Living Force. Violia was then dispatched to the agriworld of Dilonexa XXIII, located in the Centrality, a region Rimward from Hutt Space. After Violia's assignment, Cerulian mentioned it in his copy of The Jedi Path: A Manual for Students of the Force, a guidebook for Jedi trainees, expressing his hope of visiting her if a mission from Master Unskette took him to Dilonexa.

Personality and traits

Although she did not become a Padawan after years of Jedi Initiate training, Violia continued to serve the Galactic Republic. She became a member of the Agricultural Corps, where an affinity for cultivating growth and patience were highly valued qualities.
