Publisher's summary

As the Alliance fleet launches a major offensive against a dangerous warlord, Ysanne Isard has taken control of Thyferra. Her goal is to leverage its vital bacta supply to destabilize and ultimately destroy the New Republic. Rogue Squadron, lacking sufficient manpower, support from the Alliance, and even adequate weaponry, must step up to thwart Isard's perilous schemes, overcome her formidable Star Destroyer fleet, and liberate Thyferra from her oppressive reign. However, when Isard uncovers the Squadron's hidden base, this diverse group of pilots is forced into a desperate, high-stakes battle for survival against Isard's overwhelmingly superior forces.

Continuity

The novel's cover art doesn't accurately represent the events within the story. The book does not depict Rogue Squadron engaging all of Ysanne Isard's Star Destroyers, nor does it feature Mon Calamari frigates aiding in the Bacta War.
