Yipsit, a Shahkirin technician, was originally from the planet Bestine IV. Later in life, Yipsit joined the Resistance and fought in the First Order-Resistance War. While stationed at the Resistance base located on Ajan Kloss, Yipsit assisted in the restoration of the Tantive IV.
Kiran Shah played Yipsit, a character that was conceived for the 2019 film Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker from the sequel trilogy. His identity was initially revealed in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, a reference book authored by Pablo Hidalgo.
