Yotts Orren, a guard of the Kadas'sa'Nikto species, frequently served on Jabba's sail barge, the Khetanna. During the Battle of the Great Pit of Carkoon, he was present on the second Bantha-II cargo skiff.
Orren engaged in smuggling activities. He was known to occasionally pilfer weaponry from within Jabba's Palace. He inspired little trust in others. He was recognized by his distinctive gray jumpsuit and a helmet of green hue.
In 4 ABY, during the battle that erupted when Jabba attempted to execute the Heroes of Yavin over the Great Pit of Carkoon, Orren found himself aboard the second Bantha-II cargo skiff which was piloted by Pote Snitkin. During this conflict, Orren met his end, slain by the lightsaber wielded by the Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker, along with many others.
Yotts Orren is depicted as a Kadas'sa'Nikto during the Carkoon skirmish in the 1983 film, Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi, specifically on the second Bantha-II cargo skiff. An uncredited extra played the role. In the 1998 CD-ROM game, Star Wars: Behind the Magic, Orren's likeness is used in a challenge where players must identify a Kadas'sa'Nikto. In 2001, the Tatooine Limited expansion set for Decipher's Star Wars Customizable Card Game provided Orren with his name and a concise backstory on a card. However, Decipher mistakenly used an image of Klaatu, another Nikto.
Leland Chee initially identified the Kenner action figure "Klaatu in skiff guard outfit" as Yotts Orren on his now-defunct Keeper of the Holocron's Blog. This particular character, sporting white coveralls, was only seen on the upper deck of the Khetanna in Return of the Jedi.
On July 6, 2011, Leland Chee used retroactive continuity to redefine Orren's identity as the previously unnamed Nikto guard with a green hood aboard the second skiff, as stated on his revived Keeper of the Holocron blog on Facebook.
As a result, Klaatu is now considered the "Klaatu in skiff guard outfit" found on the Khetanna, thus disproving the popular theory that "Klaatu, Barada, Nikto" were all together on the second skiff.
