The Zaprin family consisted of Humans residing on the planet of Naboo during the era of the Galactic Civil War. Larence Zaprin, along with his spouse, their daughter Mia, and their son Jowres, inhabited the Zaprin Estate, which was situated in the isolated mountain region of Naboo.
In the year 1 ABY, the family's residence found itself encircled by ailing creatures, leading to Mia and Jowres contracting an ailment after being attacked. Larence dispatched an urgent request for a doctor, resulting in a medic being dispatched to render assistance to the family. The medic successfully formulated an anti-toxin, thus healing the infected siblings.
The Zaprin family made their debut in the 2003 video game titled Star Wars Galaxies. This massively multiplayer online roleplaying game was created by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts. The family was present in the game before it ceased operation on December 15, 2011. The Zaprin family was incorporated into the game with the release of "Publish 25," also referred to as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
