A male human named Larence Zaprin resided on Naboo with his family during the era of the Galactic Civil War.

Following the Battle of Yavin, Larence Zaprin made his home with his wife, daughter Mia, and son Jowres on their estate, situated in the isolated wilderness of the Gallo Mountains.
In the year 1 ABY, a pack of ailing narglatchs and motts encircled his residence. His children, Mia and Jowres, were unfortunately attacked and contracted an unidentifiable ailment when they ventured outside. In response, Zaprin urgently requested the assistance of a doctor to care for his afflicted offspring. Shortly thereafter, a medic, dispatched by the 2-1B droid known as Billingsly, arrived at the Zaprin estate and successfully formulated an antitoxin that cured the children. Unable to fully compensate the medic with sufficient credits, Zaprin instead offered a field surgeon pistol to settle the outstanding balance.
Larence Zaprin was featured as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game that was under the development of Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts before its termination on December 15, 2011. Zaprin's inclusion in the game occurred with the implementation of "Publish 25"—also known as the "New Game Enhancements"—on November 15, 2005.
Players could encounter Larence Zaprin in a secluded structure positioned in the Nabooian mountains, located southeast of the Lake Retreat. He played a role in the "House Call" quest designed for those who chose the Medic profession.
