The renowned 128th TIE Interceptor Squadron was a distinguished squadron of Imperial starfighters, specifically the TIE/IN interceptor.

This unit, celebrated for its skilled pilots, operated under the command of Lieutenant Kasan Moor. Such was the high regard for Moor and her 128th Squadron that they were cited in the official Imperial Handbook: A Commander's Guide as prime examples of peak pilot and machine performance. On the planet Gerrard V, they clashed with Rebel Y-wing and X-wing flights from Rogue Squadron and Gold Squadron, engaging in a fierce dogfight. During this confrontation, Kasan Moor made the decision to defect and join the Rebels.
The 128th TIE Interceptor Squadron makes its sole appearance in the fifth level of the 1998 video game Star Wars: Rogue Squadron. Ironically, a programming error within the game often leads to many of the TIE Interceptors associated with this "best of the best" squadron crashing onto the surface of Gerrard V.
