Ninebeedee, often shortened to 9BD, served as the dedicated droid for Krynda Draay. Q'Anilia brought about its destruction in 3963 BBY.
Following the demise of her spouse, Barrison Draay, Krynda became deeply disheartened and isolated herself, consequently overlooking her offspring, Lucien. For a significant portion of Lucien's early years, his care was entrusted to 9BD, until he reached an age suitable for instruction under her retainer, Haazen.
In 3964 BBY, Krynda experienced a stroke upon witnessing the First WatchCircle murder their respective Padawans. Haazen subsequently placed her in a state of suspended animation, prohibiting all access to her. Prior to his scheduled assembly with the Jedi High Council, Lucien attempted to gain entry into the Draay Estate, but the droid denied him access to his own residence.
During the Vindication incident, Q'Anilia severed 9BD's head in an attempt to gain access to Krynda's chamber.
