Bisk functioned as a taskmaster for the Galactic Empire, specifically as a stormtrooper. When the Iron Blockade was in effect, Bisk found himself positioned at an Imperial base located on Nar Hypa. It was during this blockade that Bisk encountered a young smuggler attempting to pilfer medical provisions from the outpost for "Happy" Dapp's purposes, which led to the scoundrel killing the taskmaster.
The character Taskmaster Bisk made their initial appearance in Star Wars: Uprising, a mobile game released in 2015. This character served as the final boss in the narrative mission entitled "The First of Four".
