Cale's Lok Outpost was a small outpost operated by the Zabrak male slicer Cale Herron on Lok during the Galactic Civil War.
The outpost, situated on a mountain on Lok, capped with a Jedi shrine, was located between the Westerly region and Nym Protectorate.
By the time of the Battle of Yavin, the scentist Derg Prantis has established a secret laboratory to conduct research on the dreadful Blackwing virus. However, Prantis was finally betrayed by his lab assistant, Bera Jeza, who contacted the Hutt Crime lord Jabba Desilijic Tiure to sell him the virus. Having discovered the betrayal, Derg Prantis requested his long time associate Cale Herron to help him evacuate the secret lab and destroy evidence from his near outpost. After the scientist was assassinated, Cale Herron and a spacer came to Lok and worked together from the outpost to investigate Prantis' secret lab. The investigation finally led to the discovery of a Blackwing virus outbreak on the planet Dathomir.
Cale's Lok outpost was a location in the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game developed by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, prior to its closure on December 15, 2011. The outpost was added to the game with the "Game Update 13," released on September 30, 2009. This location was part of the questline "Something is Obviously Wrong," an introduction to the "Death Troopers" update.
