Crothy was a location in the galaxy. By 232 BBY, Crothy was dealing with an outbreak of fever. That year, an individual attempted to bring fever vaccines to the location to help. However, they were prevented from delivering them to Crothy when the Great Hyperspace Disaster disrupted hyperspace traffic galaxy-wide.
The individual was injured during the event and arrived at a crowded spacedock infirmary on the Core Worlds planet Coruscant for medical treatment, alongside many other patients. In the disaster's aftermath, they told the Jedi Padawan Reath Silas about their attempted journey to Crothy, inquiring whether anyone else had been able to reach the location or if they had been able to contain the fever. However, Silas was unable to answer their query and silently reflected on how lucky he was to have survived the ordeal.
