During the Imperial Era, a number of Hidden Hand members were present on Fikari. Two members, Holaq and Uro, discussed the criminal syndicate and Darth Vader's attacks on them. Vader, who had arrived on the world after learning of a plot to assassinate him, eliminated most of the Hidden Hand members and interrogated Holaq. Unsatisfied with his response, Holaq was slain by the Sith Lord. He later contacted the Emperor, who expressed his disappointment and stated that the syndicate's elimination was of utmost importance. Unbeknownst to Vader, he was spied on by Gwi, another Hidden Hand associate.
Fikari made its debut in the first issue of the 2019 comic book series Star Wars: Target Vader, written by Robbie Thompson.
