During the Imperial Era, a Ualaq Aqualish named Uro was affiliated with the Hidden Hand criminal organization. Uro engaged in a conversation with the Weequay criminal Holaq on Fikari in 1 BBY. When the Sith Lord Darth Vader arrived on the planet as part of his search for the Hidden Hand, the Sith Lord killed the Aqualish, along with Holaq and other associates.
Uro was a Ualaq Aqualish who, at some point, had dealings with the Hidden Hand criminal syndicate. While in the Lower Bay Docks of Fikari, an Outer Rim world, in 1 BBY, Uro spoke with his criminal compatriot Holaq. He inquired whether the Weequay had brought a sufficient amount of weaponry. Holaq responded that the Sith Lord Darth Vader had attacked numerous clans that had connections to the Hidden Hand, leaving no one alive. Uro, remaining composed, replied that it was simply the risk involved in working with the criminal syndicate, but then mentioned that this also benefited the syndicate's clients, as transactions with the Hidden Hand and its contacts were kept secret.

As they continued their conversation while walking, Holaq stated that the syndicate's days were limited, as Vader was relentlessly pursuing them. As the Aqualish accused the Weequay of being afraid of the Sith Lord, Uro detected a sound and immediately alerted Holaq. Unbeknownst to the criminals, Vader, who had come to the docks searching for information regarding the Hidden Hand, had already slaughtered the dock's security personnel. Standing behind Holaq, Uro was suddenly pulled backwards by the Sith's Force powers and met his end, while Holaq continued to survey the area, unaware that the Aqualish had been killed. Vader then proceeded to question and eliminate Holaq.
Uro, as a four-eyed Aqualish, possessed gray skin, gray hair, and yellow eyes. Uro appreciated the anonymity that came with working with the Hidden Hand, as their deals were kept confidential. Unlike Holaq, the Aqualish displayed no fear of Vader, even after hearing accounts of the Sith Lord eliminating clans associated with the Hidden Hand.
Uro made his debut in the first issue of Star Wars: Target Vader, a comic-book series from 2019. The comic was written by Robbie Thompson, with illustrations by Marc Laming and Cris Bolson, and was released on July 3, 2019, by Marvel Comics.
