Holaq

Holaq was a Weequay who was an associate of the Hidden Hand criminal group during 1 BBY. Holaq was in the Lower Bay Docks on the Outer Rim world of Fikari, conversing with Uro, an Aqualish. He remarked that the Sith Lord Darth Vader had decimated several clans, leaving no survivors. Uro responded that while this was the risk of working with the Hidden Hand, the upside was that they were kept anonymous from the syndicate. Holaq countered that the syndicate's days were numbered, as Vader was actively pursuing them.

While they were talking, Vader, who was hunting the Hidden Hand, arrived at the docks and began to massacre the guards without Uro or Holaq's knowledge. Almost immediately, Uro was pulled away and killed. Noticing that the Aqualish had vanished, Holaq drew his blaster pistol, and was immediately made aware of Vader's presence when the Sith Lord used his Force powers to crush the blaster. Holaq was then interrogated about the whereabouts of the Hidden Hand and pleaded with the Sith Lord, claiming that the syndicate never revealed their identities and only paid credits to secure their loyalty. Vader, dissatisfied with the Weequay's answer, used the Force to create an explosion that engulfed and killed Holaq.

Holaq was a Weequay characterized by orange skin and brown hair. Having heard the stories of Darth Vader, Holaq developed a fear of the Sith Lord, and he believed that the Hidden Hand's time was limited because he was convinced that Vader would eventually find them.

Holaq wore a brown cape draped over his left shoulder, covering a brown outfit, and a pauldron on his right shoulder. He carried a blaster pistol holstered on his right hip and wore brown gloves and boots.

Holaq made his debut in the first issue of the 2019 Star Wars: Target Vader comic book series, which was penned by Robbie Thompson, with illustrations by Marc Laming and Cris Bolson, and published by Marvel Comics on July 3, 2019.
