Gholan was a Devaronian male criminal who was imprisoned in Belsavis prison during the Galactic War. A crazed Force-sensitive with some training, Gholan somehow survived four execution attempts by the Galactic Republic, forcing the Republic to send him to Belsavis. During the invasion of Belsavis by the Sith Empire, Gholan stole the key to Marshal Ellis Ruger's guard station, and refused all of the Empire's offers to trade for the key. As a result, Lord Medechas dispatched Imperial forces to kill Gholan and retrieve the key.
