Jaguada

Jaguada was a desert planet and one of the noteworthy worlds of the ancient Sith. According to legend, the Sith Lord Darth Noctyss carried out research on the planet that eventually led her to the lost Sith world of Exegol in her quest to attain immortality. In the time of the Galactic Republic, Jaguada was quarantined along with the likes of MalachorZiost, and Rhelg, and its affiliation to the Sith was hidden from history.

Behind the scenes

Jaguada was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker: The Visual Dictionary, written by Pablo Hidalgo and published in 2019. Jaguada later made its first canonical appearance in the 2020 short story "A Life Immortal," written by George Mann and illustrated by Grant Griffin. In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Jaguada first appeared, albeit only as a holographic representation of the entire Jaguada system, in the 2005 novel Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader, written by James Luceno.
