When the Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker visited the Wheel in search of the Anomid criminal Grynask Sanberge some time between 29 BBY and 22 BBY, they had to disguise themselves as tourists to avoid attracting Jaspara's attention.
Jaspara first appeared in Choose Your Destiny: An Obi-Wan & Anakin Adventure, a 2019 canon book in the Star Wars: Choose Your Destiny series, written by Cavan Scott. In one of the book's non-canon endings, Kenobi and Skywalker are caught and taken to Jaspara, who decides to hold them for ransom.
