Neijaian is a language utilized by individuals of a tribal species residing on a swamp planet. During the period spanning from 32 ABY to 34 ABY, the Resistance pilot Poe Dameron, along with the BB-series astromech droid BB-8, and the youthful human male Kori Ong, were ensnared in a net by members of this species. Subsequent to their liberation, certain aliens communicated using Neijaian while in pursuit of them.
The comic story entitled "An Unlikely Friendship," which was included in the fifteenth edition of the Star Wars Adventures comic book series, featured Neijaian. This issue was released on October 31, 2018. James Gilarte is credited as the author of the comic story.
