Pobos, a Bothan, served as an informant for Vedo Anjiliac Atirue around 138 ABY. Vedo tasked Cade Skywalker with eliminating Vul Isen, a Sith scientist, a mission Skywalker had already undertaken independently. Subsequently, Vedo dispatched Pobos to Utapau to connect with Skywalker and reveal Isen's exact location. Unfortunately, Sith assassins trailed Pobos to the designated meeting place, fatally shooting the Bothan before Skywalker and Jedi Master Wolf Sazen managed to neutralize the threat. In his dying moments, Pobos shared Isen's whereabouts with Skywalker, also warning him that the scientist had deployed assassins to target Gar Stazi, a Galactic Alliance Remnant Admiral seeking sanctuary on Utapau. With his final breaths, Pobos urged Skywalker to prevent Isen and his assassins from succeeding.
The character of Pobos was featured in Star Wars: Legacy, specifically in the forty-ninth issue of the comic book series. John Ostrander penned the issue, Jan Duursema provided the artwork, and Dark Horse Comics released it to the public on June 30, 2010.
