After escaping an Imperial attack, two rebel soldiers landed on Tatooine via escape pods near a Tusken Raider camp. The Galactic Empire then dispatched AT-STs, stormtroopers, scout troopers, shadow troopers, Demolition Troopers, and Imperial shock troopers to engage them, while Admiral Gial Ackbar arrived in an MC80 Star Cruiser and engaged the Imperial-class Star Destroyer.
Eventually, Imperial ground forces were defeated, and a group of T-65B X-wing starfighters flew down and proceeded to attack the fleeing stormtroopers, while the Star Destroyer crashed down onto the planet.
