An Aqualish woman, identified by her sex, was the spouse of an Aqualish regional administrator in the time of the Clone Wars. She and her mate were present at a celebratory event on Raxus Secundus. The gala was in celebration of Count Dooku, the head of the Confederacy of Independent Systems, who was being awarded the Raxian Humanitarian Award. While her spouse was engaged in conversation with Dooku, Asajj Ventress, who was once Dooku's apprentice, came up to the governor and requested a duel with him following the gala. After this, Dooku responded to a greeting from the governor by saying the honor was all his, and then he turned to greet his spouse. She became bashful and lowered her head.
The Aqualish governor's wife made her debut in the 2015 book Dark Disciple by Christie Golden. The novel is a rewritten version of an unfinished story arc from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, which was cut short due to the show's termination.
