At some point prior to the creation of terentatek before , the Sith Empire became embroiled in a war where the Sith pressed into military service for the first time various varieties of warbeast, including the silooth, the Sith warbird and the Sith war behemoth, in order to aid their campaign. During one major engagement of the war, the Battle of Kalsunor, hordes of mutated silooths were released by the Sith on the planet Kalsunor, and the creatures proceeded to ravish the world. Following the Discovery of Korriban in 6900 BBY, Jen'jidai Sorzus Syn wrote about the war in her chronicle, which was later collected by Darth Sidious into his Book of Sith.
