Jawa edit

Hello. This is in response to your comment regarding your edit of the Jawa article. In my book...

 • 3 counts of improper capitalization,
 • 1 count of inappropriate usage of OOU terminology in an IU infobox field,
 • of improperly formatted linking,
 • 1 count of duplicate linking,
 • 1 count of improper comma usage,
 • 1 count of improper citation placement,
 • 2 counts of improperly placed reference relative to punctuation,
 • 1 count of completely improperly formatted reference,
 • 1 count of inappropriately using specific referencing to support a general statement,
 • 2 counts of improper pipelinking,
 • 1 count of misspelling,
 • 1 count of inappropriately pipelinking to an OOU concept in the article's IU portion,
 • 1 count of improperly moving a portion of text from its place in an appropriate section to an inappropriate section,

...all in the space of a single edit, does in the end amount to a low-quality edit. Please read carefully through this entire section of our Manual of Style, our rules of sourcing, and this section of our Layout Guide, and you should be better equipped for future good-quality editing. In addition, please note that your signature is currently in violation of our Signature policy, in that your signature should contain a link back to your userpage. Hope this helps, Imperators II 18:10, December 3, 2019 (UTC)

While all good-faith contributions to Wookieepedia are appreciated, we ask that you please refer to Wookieepedia:Images and familiarize yourself with the sourcing and licensing requirements before uploading any more images. The only uploading method supported by Wookieepedia, Special:Upload, will prompt you to enter this information. • I'm sorry about that. And about the signature. I always forget to do that. Thank you--CT-65/91-6210 () 00:22, January 25, 2020 (UTC)

Your signature

Hello. This message is to inform you that your custom user signature is currently in violation of Wookieepedia's Signature policy, which states that user signatures "must include your actual, full username." This means that your signature needs to say "CommanderDeviss327," not "CT-65/91-6210." We ask that you please adjust your signature accordingly. Thank you. Warning

Do not create talk pages just to add a WookieeProject template. This goes against our Talk page policy. Thanks--DarthRuiz30 (talk) 20:34, February 4, 2020 (UTC)

Hi Commander Deviss. I've deleted and recreated your userpage in order to remove the link you posted to a copy-right infringing website from both the page and page history. Please don't post such links on the wiki in future. Thanks, Ayrehead02 (talk) 16:55, February 5, 2020 (UTC)

 • Shoot. I didn't realize it was copyrighted. I'll check before I post any outside links next time.--CommanderDeviss327 () 17:08, February 5, 2020 (UTC)

Article reviews

Hello, seeing as you are trying to establish yourself on article review pages, I wanted to give you some information that I believe may be news to you. First and foremost, I should direct you to look at the nomination pages of your previous nominations that have been taken down (here and here), in case you have not seen them. The first was simple, it was well over the word count, which you would have known if you had bothered to read the GAN rules at the top of this page. The second, on the other hand, was removed as it was very clearly below the standard of a CA. It was clear to me that you had not read the CAN's rules, which are imperative you understand, nor had you looked at other CAs to see what is required of such an article, which is also essential for beginners. Given that your recent CANs are still showing these issues, and you don't seem to be checking those nominations thoroughly, I wanted to give you some advice/warning.

First and foremost, read the CAN/GAN rules before nominating, and look at other status articles. Reviewers should not have to relay basic information to you because you have not been bothered to read our rules, or even edit your nominated article yourself. When you nominate an article, it is extremely rare that you don't have to edit it yourself. You are expected to put in effort and write it to quality yourself. If you don't fulfil these basic requirements, you are wasting reviewers' time, and that will only land you with nobody reviewing your nominations. We are volunteers, after all. Also, although it is stated on the CAN page, I wanted to tell you that you do have to respond to peoples' objections, like so. Leaving objections undressed, even if you have fixed them, will only result in the nomination getting taken down for inactivity, like this one is heading towards. You have to tell people you have fixed their issues. I hope to see your future nominations show you have listened to the advice being given to you. Tommy Macaroni 21:22, February 25, 2020 (UTC)

 • I apologize. I'm in a bit of a hurry, since my friend only let me borrow his book for an hour.-- 20:26, February 26, 2020 (UTC)

CT-9923

Hello. Can you please tell me where "CT-9923" appears in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars novelization? Our article for the novel is quite well documented and doesn't contain any mention of this purported character, nor does any other article on Wookieepedia link to it, which is usually a strong sign that a subject doesn't actually exist. Please respond with a page number where you're finding this information in the book. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 14:19, February 27, 2020 (UTC)

 • That information on the page is unsourced and thus unverified. I don't need you to send me a picture. I would like you to tell me what page you claim to find this information on so that I may check it myself. Thank you. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 14:44, February 27, 2020 (UTC)

New pages

When creating new pages, please use proper formatting, and don't just copy-paste content. To see what I'm referring to, please review the edit histories of Rapid Fire Turret, Rocket Turret, and Sonic Cannon Turret. Thanks. - Cwedin 02:12, March 3, 2020 (UTC)

RE: Tommy

Unfortunately for Tommy if he's found guilty we'll have no choice but to fire him into the sun. Sad, I know. I'll try and get you pictures of the Pelta-class page tonight, although it's specifically Phoenix Home being covered in the book so might not be a huge number of updates for the Pelta-class page. Ayrehead02 (talk) 19:00, March 9, 2020 (UTC)

 • Thanks. Unfortunately, I think Tommy may be guilty.-- 19:02, March 9, 2020 (UTC)

EC page

As much as we appreciate your enthusiasm to participate in this month's EC meeting theme, EC meetings are reserved for members of the EduCorps only, for assessing old CAs to see if their status should be kept, as well as other review board-related tasks. Thank you for your cooperation, Tommy Macaroni 19:23, March 9, 2020 (UTC)

RE:Pelta-class frigate

Hmm, that is interesting. The thing in my opinion is that it should still all be noted in the Behind the Scenes section because that information is in the RPG Adventure Seed and it doesn't specify that it was Phoenix Cell that obtained another Pelta-class, just that it was the nascent Rebel Alliance that did. We know that even though the Rebel Alliance wasn't formally declared until 2 BBY, by 5 BBY there was already a central link and it was referred to as "the Alliance" so any other "Rebel" group could have obtained a Pelta-class. I think it's best to note it in the Behind the Scenes section for now, but if there's a general consensus to move it to the main article's body then it would be moved at that time. That's my opinion--Vitus Infinitus 18:11, March 12, 2020 (UTC)

 • As far as I know, I think so yes but they have to be added with a disclaimer. Check Oppressor, that article has an adventure seed and that's how we would incorporate the information into the article.--Vitus Infinitus 03:24, March 13, 2020 (UTC)

RE: Page Number

Hi Deviss. Page numbers don't need to be included in the BTS, but I'd advise against nominating that article right now. I'm personally not even certain this is a separate type of ship and so may TC it. I'd also advise looking at other status articles so you can see what's usually included in a BTS before nomination. Ayrehead02 (talk) 21:30, March 13, 2020 (UTC)

CA noms

Hey CommanderDeviss327, for future reference make sure to follow the rules of nomination found here to properly format the nomination and ensure that the article follows the steps. You can also see this on the template when you first add CAnom to the article. Thanks--Vitus Infinitus 21:21, March 18, 2020 (UTC)

RE: Question

The wiki looked much the same as it does now to be honest, minus the canon/legends tab at the top. It took quite a while to decide on what system we wanted to use with the two continuities and then some time to create the new canon versions on many of the existing articles. Ayrehead02 (talk) 21:09, April 3, 2020 (UTC)

Mygeeto

Hey! You'll notice I removed some references on the Mygeeto page, rather than sourcing it to just Star Wars: Kanan Book II: First Blood you will need to source the specific issues. Let me know if you need any help or anything, thanks! --Lewisr (talk) 01:33, April 18, 2020 (UTC)

 • No worries, thanks for fixing them! --Lewisr (talk) 01:46, April 18, 2020 (UTC)

A message from the AgriCorps

Hi, I'm reaching out to you on behalf of the AgriCorps. You're receiving this message because you have nominated at least one GAN this year while reviewing fewer than two GANs per each of your nominations. As you know, the GAN is a community project that can only operate when Wookieepedians both nominate and review articles. We therefore encourage you to review more GANs. Not only is this an act of giving back to the community, but reviewing others' articles is the best way to improve your own article writing as well. We look forward to seeing more reviews from you! Cheers, 1358 (Talk) 19:58, May 16, 2020 (UTC)

RE:Oops

No worries, it happens! It certainly happened to me before hahaha--Vitus Infinitus 00:13, September 7, 2020 (UTC)

Warning

Please note that we write our references using the <ref name=""> format at the beginning of the citation, not <ref>, in accordance with Wookieepedia:Sourcing. Here, for example, you have repeatedly used the incorrect format. Also note that spaces should not be used around section headers, and you have introduced many duplicate links, in violation of Wookieepedia:Manual of Style#Linking. You will need to go back and fix this edit and format your ref notes correctly in future edits that you make, or else further action will be taken. Thank you for your cooperation. TommyMacaroni 08:28, September 11, 2020 (UTC)

 • Also note that the correct image layout is thumb|location|size|caption. You need to adhere to this, and you should not be removing any parameters as you have done here. If you continue, further action will be taken. Thank you for your cooperation. TommyMacaroni 08:31, September 11, 2020 (UTC)

Formatting

Hello, please do not format Venator-class Star Destroyers like this as you did here. It should be done like Venator-class Star Destroyers as I corrected here. Please keep this in mind for the future. Thanks --Lewisr (talk) 14:52, September 11, 2020 (UTC)

Blocked

You have been blocked from editing for 3 days, for disregarding all of your previous warnings and continuing to improperly format image links, headings, normal links, etc, all of which are in violation of various policies of ours. As it seems talk page warnings are having no effect on you, a block is our last option to try and get through to you. If you continue to blatantly ignore the warnings we are giving, simply expect a longer block upon your return. All the links guiding you on the correct formatting are in the previous warnings. To contest this block, please contact the blocking administrator with the reason you believe the block is unjustified. TommyMacaroni 16:26, September 11, 2020 (UTC)

References

Just wanted to let you know that you're still doing referencing incorrectly, as evidenced by your edit to Mandalorian. You were already blocked for not consistent improper formatting, it would be best to amend that. I'm more than willing to help you here if you're genuinely lost in this matter. Heavy weapons

Hey, CommanderDeviss! I just wanted to ask how we know that the heavy weapons clone trooper from Star Wars: Galactic Defense is the same as the clone variant of the heavy category we see in Star Wars Battlefront II? Thanks!--Vitus Infinitus 03:29, October 6, 2020 (UTC)

 • Ah okay, thanks for clarifying!--Vitus Infinitus 15:48, October 6, 2020 (UTC)

DC-15x

Hey! I'm afraid I don't really know anything about that weapon so I can't help you with that tbh, I never played the Galactic Defense game, and I don't have the Star Wars Legion pack listed on the page! Sorry to not of be much use, I don't really know who to suggest asking, I guess you could ask on its talk page --Lewisr (talk) 18:40, October 6, 2020 (UTC)

Simple, just click on this and create the page. Basically, just add /workbench or /workspace or whatever after your profile in the address bar of your browser. Hope this helps. <-Omicron 14:18, October 8, 2020 (UTC)

Status articles

Hey, when making edits to status articles, like you've done here, please be sure to reference any new information and add the source to the article's sources section. Cheers! 12:22, October 20, 2020 (UTC)

Formatting

Deviss, you have been warned and blocked before for you haphazard formatting. Things like this are not fair on other users, who are being forced to clean up after you. I know this is not directly your fault, as those errors stem from you using the VisualEditor, which while useful for beginners, often formats code in a way not consistent with what the Manual of Style sets out. Therefore, since you're becoming more of an experienced editor, with nearly 1000 edits under your belt, I would strongly encourage you to adopt the Source/Classic Editor, which does not create mangled code in the same way. Information on how to switch and how to use the Source Editor can be found here and on the previous link. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. Thanks, TommyMacaroni 16:22, October 21, 2020 (UTC)
