Aereen, a moon orbiting Krant, was abundant in mineral resources and covered in dust. During the Clone Wars, Echuu Shen-Jon annihilated a Trade Federation mining colony managed by Plure Barron on this moon, an event known as the destroyed. Following this act, Echuu proceeded to invade Krant, utilizing his remaining troops. The Confederacy of Independent Systems also used Aereen as a construction site for Decimators throughout the conflict.
