Aftermath: Life Debt is the complete, spoken-word rendition of the canon novel bearing the same title. It represents the second installment in the Star Wars: The Aftermath Trilogy by the author Chuck Wendig. Marc Thompson lent his voice to the audiobook, which was made available by Random House Audio on July 12, 2016.
The state of the galaxy is in flux, and with the possibility of peace emerging, some are beginning to envision fresh starts and new paths. For Han Solo, this entails fulfilling his final outstanding obligation: aiding Chewbacca in liberating Kashyyyk, the Wookiee's native planet.
Simultaneously, Norra Wexley and her group of rebels are in pursuit of Admiral Rae Sloane and the remaining Imperial leaders across the vastness of space. Sloane, growing increasingly suspicious of the mysterious fleet admiral, is desperately seeking a way to rescue the collapsing Empire from utter destruction. Even as Imperial forces struggle to reclaim territories they have lost, Princess Leia and the New Republic are endeavoring to negotiate a lasting peace agreement.
However, the rebel's pursuit of Admiral Sloane is abruptly halted by the disappearance of Han Solo and Chewbacca. Driven by a desire to rescue them, Leia enlists Norra, Sinjir, Jas, and the rest of their team to locate the missing smugglers and provide assistance in their fight for liberation.
Marc Thompson narrated the audiobook, which Random House Audio published on July 12, 2016. It was available as both a digital download and a physical set of thirteen compact discs. Kevin Thomsen served as the director, while Aaron Blank held the position of executive producer.
