A male being known as Akers Radch resided on Corellia during the Galactic Civil War era.
Sometime after the Battle of Yavin, Akers Radch found himself a prisoner of the Corellian slavers, forced into slavery within the Corellian Slaver Bunker located near Tyrena. While held captive, he formed a bond with Vermon Skeetz, an individual with mental health challenges who remained stable only with medication. In 1 ABY, Vermon Skeetz made his escape from the bunker with a group of slaves led by Kyran Silene, but during the escape he lost his medicine. Later, a spacer infiltrated the bunker, seeking evidence of the slavers' activities for the Corellian Security Force. This spacer encountered Akers Radch and informed him that Vermon was undergoing a psychotic break, and was ordered to assassinate Akers. Despite this, Radch offered his assistance to the spacer in recovering Vermon's medication. Ultimately, the spacer transmitted the slavers' records on the CorSec emergency channels, prompting a swift response from numerous CorSec agents who liberated all the enslaved individuals. Following his liberation from the bunker, Akers delivered the medicine to Vermon, who quickly recovered from his episode and expressed remorse for his aggressive actions.
Akers Radch existed as a non-player character within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game created by Sony Online Entertainment and published by LucasArts, before it was shut down on December 15, 2011. Akers Radch was introduced into the game via an update called "Chapter 1: The Corellian Captives," released on June 8, 2006.
Radch's physical appearance was randomly selected from a pool of 120 different possibilities. This included Humans, Twi'leks, Zabraks, Bothans, Mon Calamari, Aqualish, Bith, Rodians, and Trandoshans of either gender, as well as male Devaronians, Ishi Tib, Nikto, and Sullustans. Despite the random generation, quest dialogues identified him specifically as male.
