Akk Guard
The Akk Guards represented the most skilled fighters of Kar Vastor's Upland Liberation Front during the Summertime War that took place on Haruun Kal; they were his elite force.
Description
These Korunnai warriors received personalized training from Vastor, who instilled in them a bestial nature akin to the akk dogs they shared a bond with. He also instructed them in the use of their characteristic weapon: the razor-edged vibroshields. Beyond their connection to the akk dogs, the Guards were also deeply linked to Vastor and to one another. Vastor imparted to the Guards a more profound grasp and command of pelekotan than most Korunnai possessed. The Guards, along with Vastor, channeled instinct, rage, and aggression. Jedi Master Mace Windu, during his mission to Haruun Kal, noted that they mirrored the Jedi in a dark way, even down to their choice of weaponry.
History
During Master Windu's mission on Haruun Kal to locate Depa Billaba, he discovered that she had allied herself with Vastor and his guards. During the battle of Pelek Baw, they threatened the capital city of Pelek Baw, but Windu, aided by Nick Rostu, managed to overcome them.
Among the twelve guards, three were identified as Prouk, Thaffal, and Iolu.
