Thaffal was a male Korun from Haruun Kal, specifically an Akk Guard, who lived during the Summertime War. He is a Korun male Akk Guard from Haruun Kal during the Summertime War.
When Jedi Master Mace Windu attempted to liberate the Balawai prisoners from the Korunnai, Thaffal attempted to stop him; Windu responded by breaking Thaffal's nose. Thaffal tried to oppose Jedi Master Mace Windu when he tried to free the Balawai prisoners from the Korunnai, causing Windu to break his nose.
Toward the conclusion of the Summertime War in 22 BBY, Thaffal, along with Kar Vastor and the other Akk guards, engaged Windu, Nick Rostu, and forces of the Galactic Republic. During the Battle of Pelek Baw, Thaffal used his vibroshields to kill numerous clone troopers. Ultimately, Rostu shot Thaffal in the knee, causing him to fall onto a dying trooper, who then used his remaining strength to eliminate Thaffal with his DC-15s pistol. Near the end of the Summertime War in 22 BBY, he, the other Akk guards and Kar Vastor faced off against Windu, Nick Rostu and Galactic Republic forces. During Battle of Pelek Baw Thaffal slaughtered many clone troopers with his vibroshields. At the end, Rostu shot him at the knee, making him fall down, over a moribund trooper, who finally used his last effort to kill Thaffal with his DC-15s pistol.
