The Alliance Exclusionary Zone came into being when the Galactic Alliance set it up. This zone surrounded both Centerpoint Station and the five planets with inhabitants within the Corellian system during the time of the Blockade of Corellia. In the end, the Corellian Exclusion Zone became part of this expanded blocked-off region.
