Always count your clones before take-off

"Always count your clones before take-off" represents the third installment in a sequence of comic strips accessible via the LEGO Star Wars official webpage. Its initial appearance on the LEGO platform occurred during the autumn of 2008. Subsequently, an altered iteration, featuring distinct audio cues and musical backdrop, was introduced on StarWars.com on October 20, 2009.

Synopsis

As the forces of the Republic execute a swift withdrawal, a clone soldier aboard a Republic gunship realizes that clone troopers designated as 1137 and 1139 are missing from the manifest. Meanwhile, stranded on the planet's surface, the two absent troopers frantically signal the departing gunships, their efforts proving futile. Their isolation is broken by the arrival of a contingent of battle droids. Concealing themselves behind a sizable container, the clones eavesdrop on the droids' conversation regarding their clandestine superweapon. Driven by a resolve to uncover this weapon, the clones devise a strategy. They dismantle the crate and assemble a fighter tank. Piloting the tank, the clones embark on a mission to locate the weapon, leaving a path of demolished droids in their wake. Upon discovering the weapon—a towering structure—the troopers unleash the tank's firepower upon its apex, causing its collapse. While the two survey the debris, a Republic gunship descends to retrieve them.
