Ameé was a female individual born circa 54 BBY on the Mid Rim planet of Naboo. Following Queen Ekay's departure, they ascended to the throne as the Queen of Naboo for the Royal House of Naboo in 40 BBY. During that year, Princess Fanry of Pijal, an Inner Rim planet, contemplated inviting Ameé, along with other youthful galactic figures, to a summit on her world. However, Rael Averross, her lord regent, dismissed the proposal. A few days later, at her [coronation](/article/coronation_of_queen_fanry], Fanry denounced democracy after seizing absolute power, expressing her desire to emulate Ameé and other Naboo queens as a warrior queen for her people. In 36 BBY, Ameé stepped down as Naboo's monarch, succeeded by Queen Réillata.
The 2019 novel Master & Apprentice by Claudia Gray first made an indirect reference to Ameé. The queen's name was first revealed in Star Wars: Timelines, a 2023 reference book. Gray emphasized the significance of including Fanry and the other young leaders the princess mentioned in the novel, including Ameé, stating in an interview that she didn't question a world's choice to have relatively inexperienced leaders if it proved effective for them.
