Andor family hauler

The hauler, specifically a FR-193D model, was owned by the Andor family beginning no later than 24 BBY. By 5 BBY, it had fallen into disrepair, becoming inoperable. However, Cassian Andor maintained possession of it, utilizing it as a concealed refuge.

History

Salvage operations

Clem and Maarva Carassi Andor, a married couple, employed the hauler for transportation across the galaxy during their salvage expeditions, starting in 24 BBY. On one such voyage, they journeyed to the planet of Kenari, where they encountered Kassa, a nine-year-old boy from Kenari. They subsequently adopted him and raised him on Ferrix, their home planet.

Retirement on Ferrix

By 5 BBY, the hauler had deteriorated into a derelict state on Ferrix. Cassian, their adopted son, would sleep within its remains, specifically in the same sleeping berth he occupied during their departure from Kenari. He concealed a stolen Imperial N-S9 Starpath Unit within a secret compartment before attempting its sale to Luthen Rael.

Behind the scenes

The transport's wrecked form was initially seen in "Kassa," which is the premiere episode of the Disney+ original series, Andor. Its functional appearance was first depicted in a flashback sequence in "Reckoning," the series' third episode.
