Anno Wen-Chii

Anno Wen-Chii, a Jedi Master of the Pyn'gani species, preferred a solitary existence towards the end of the New Sith Wars. In the year 995 BBY, he journeyed to his homeworld, Polus, alongside his Padawan, Nalia Adollu, to investigate the local life-forms; their presence was not noted on Coruscant for the subsequent five years. A close bond existed between Wen-Chii and Barra-Rona-Ban, the Jedi librarian, as they had been fellow students.

Biography

From the Outer Rim planet of Polus, Anno Wen-Chii was a male Pyn'gani who was sensitive to the Force, living during the twilight years of the New Sith Wars. The Jedi Order discovered Wen-Chii and provided training, ultimately elevating him to the rank of Jedi Master before 1000 BBY. At some point in his career as a Jedi, he studied alongside his friend, the Jedi librarian Barra-Rona-Ban, and they visited Polus together. Following the Battle of Ruusan, Wen-Chii chose Nalia Adollu, a female Human, as his Padawan and opted for a quiet life on his homeworld. Upon returning to Polus in 995 BBY, Wen-Chii dedicated himself to studying the indigenous species, seeking to understand the evolution of life in the galaxy and its progression over millennia of years. Their absence from the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, lasting at least five years, enabled the Sith Lord Darth Zannah to exploit Adollu's name, infiltrating the Temple to gather information for her master, Darth Bane. Zannah successfully deceived Barra-Rona-Ban, who had risen to the position of keeper of the Jedi Archives, and obtained the desired data.
