An Aqualish burial ground was constructed on Talus well before the Galactic Civil War began. By the time the Battle of Yavin occurred, it stood as one of the most ancient Aqualish cemeteries on Talus. Despite the Aqualish's general disregard for their aged, mostly dilapidated structures, they consistently maintained their ancestral burial sites. In 1 ABY, Omkoo, an Aqualish, grew concerned due to circulating rumors about vandals desecrating Aqualish graves. Given the apparent lack of concern from the local authorities of the Federation of the Double Worlds, the Aqualish engaged the services of a spacer to investigate and put an end to the grave disturbances. However, the spacer discovered not thugs, but paramilitary forces belonging to the Tralus and Talus Liberation Party, a group advocating for the independence of the Twin Worlds from the Corellian system. The spacer eliminated the soldiers who were looting the ruins, but the TTLP had already managed to transport some artifacts away. Subsequently, the adventurer made visits to the Nashal Starport and a Rebel weapons depot, ultimately recovering all of the stolen artifacts.
The Aqualish gravesite featured as a location within the 2003 video game Star Wars Galaxies, a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game. This game was developed by Sony Online Entertainment and brought to the public by LucasArts, before its servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. The Aqualish gravesite was incorporated into the game through the "Grave Robbers" quest, which was introduced with "Publish 21," released on August 4, 2005.
