Aquillia

Aquillia was a Twi'lek archaeologist of the female persuasion, active during the era of the Galactic Civil War. Specifically, in 1 ABY, her research focused on the cultural practices of the Rak'qua, a Nautolan tribe residing on Station Gamma. This station was an asteroid-carved space station located within the Bright Jewel system. While she was on the station, Aquillia learned that the Rak'qua engaged in the worship of ancient altars, performing dances around them in the hope that the altars' wisdom would grant them protection and improved combat skills. Given the Nautolans' general distrust of outsiders, Aquillia once enlisted a group of space travelers to venture into the depths of Station Gamma with the objective of surveying eight sacred runes located on the Rak'qua altars. Despite encountering resistance from the Rak'qua, the spacers successfully completed their mission, delivering copies of the runes to Aquillia.

Behind the scenes

Aquillia made an appearance as a non-playable character within the 2003 video game known as Star Wars Galaxies. This game was a massively multiplayer online roleplaying game brought to life by Sony Online Entertainment and distributed by LucasArts, before its servers were shut down on December 15, 2011. Aquillia was incorporated into the game as a component of the "New Player Tutorial," which was introduced with the release of "Publish 25," also known as the "New Game Enhancements," on November 15, 2005.
