Arkie operated a store situated on the beach, catering to the resort-goers of the planet Niamos. In the year 5 BBY, Windi, a human residing at the Niamos_hotel alongside Cassian Andor, another human, suggested that Andor make a trip to Arkie's during his stroll. Upon Andor's indication that he intended to walk the other way, Windi told him about Arkie's new flavor selection, and also asked him to pick up some Peezos along with the green Revnog, because they had run out of both. Andor consented, however, he was apprehended by the forces of the Galactic Empire just outside of Arkie's establishment before he had the chance to go inside.
The character Arkie received a mention in the seventh episode, titled "Announcement," of Andor's first season, a television series available on the Disney+ streaming service. This episode was made available on October 19, 2022.
