During the time of the High Republic Era, Tiikae was assaulted by the marauders known as the Nihil. A starship of the Jedi, carrying Jedi Master Cohmac Vitus, Jedi Knight Vernestra Rwoh, along with their respective Padawans, Reath Silas and Imri Cantaros, was traveling nearby and changed course to help fend off the aggressors. Even before discovering the situation, Rwoh experienced a Force vision while their starship was in hyperspace, visualizing the attack and noticing a strange item within the besieged city.
