The encampment of Attichitcuk was a habitation established by the Wookiee known as Attichitcuk. This settlement was located on the moon referred to as Alaris Prime. Its establishment occurred sometime between the years of 39 BBY and 36 BBY, during the colonization attempt of the moon by his group. This camp was constructed within a limited forest opening and comprised solely of four structures. Following Attichitcuk's construction of the camp, it was discovered by his offspring, Chewbacca, alongside his companion Shoran, aided by the Jedi Master named Qui-Gon Jinn. Simultaneously, four gundarks, predatory creatures native to Alaris Prime, made an attempt to destroy the camp; however, the three Wookiees successfully defended it.
On the moon Alaris Prime, a forest Wookiee named Attichitcuk constructed a camp as part of a group's endeavor to colonize the location. This camp was situated within a small clearing inside the forest. To assist travelers in locating the camp, markers were strategically placed to guide them. The camp consisted of four buildings in total: a command center, which served as the main structure, and three prefab shelters designed to accommodate the Wookiees residing within the compound.
As part of the Wookiee colonization efforts on Alaris Prime, Attichitcuk established his camp sometime between the years 39 BBY and 36 BBY. The camp was among the initial settlements on Alaris Prime, erected shortly after Attichitcuk's arrival on the moon. Attichitcuk remained at the camp until his son, Chewbacca, and his friend Shoran reached the location. They were assisted by Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn, who had been dispatched by the Jedi Council to supervise the colonization initiative. Concurrently with their arrival, the camp faced an attack from four gundarks, the primary predatory threat on Alaris Prime. The three Wookiees swiftly repelled and killed the gundarks, preventing them from destroying the camp. Subsequently, Attichitcuk, Chewbacca, and Shoran spearheaded a successful colonization endeavor on Alaris Prime.
The first mention of Attichitcuk's camp occurred in Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds: Prima's Official Strategy Guide by Steven L. Kent, which was launched on November 7, 2001. Subsequently, the camp appeared in the video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds developed by LucasArts, released on November 11, 2001. The camp is featured in the inaugural level of the Wookiee tutorial campaign, entitled "Moving and Attacking." In this level, the player is tasked with locating the compound using Chewbacca and Shoran, followed by defending it against a gundark assault.
