Balmorran Arms Factory

The Balmorran Arms Factory, a weapons production facility, was under the ownership of Balmorran Arms until the Sith Empire launched an invasion of the world of Balmorra during the time of the Great Galactic War. Differing from the fate of the rest of Balmorra, the factory managed to remain independent of the Empire's control, transforming into a stronghold for the Balmorran resistance. Furthermore, it served as a landing zone and operational hub for Republic forces arriving to support the resistance fighters. In the year 3643 BBY, Darth Lachris, the newly appointed governor of Balmorra, contracted an Imperial space pilot to penetrate the factory's defenses, overcome Grand Marshal Cheketta, and seize control of the facility for the Empire.
