Barsen'thor signified a formal position within the Jedi Order; the term came from the Cerean language and translated to "Warden of the Order."
The Order embraced the title, reserving it solely for extraordinary Jedi, after it was initially granted after death to Padawan Lorjan Sakku by his Master. This occurred before Lorjan Sakku's sacrifice, where he triumphed over his sibling Lyhesh and brought about his redemption. During the era of the Cold War, the title had been conferred upon just one other person. Later, the apprentice of Jedi Master Yuon Par was designated as the Barsen'thor following the vanquishing and subsequent reformation of the Sith Lord Vivicar.
