Bashenn was a Rutian Twi'lek of the male gender, who served as a Pilgrim and head of security. He resided illegally on Tython during the time of the Cold War, a period of tension between the Galactic Republic and the resurgent Sith Empire.
Bashenn, a male Twi'lek, was among the many Pilgrims who, following Matriarch Kolovish, journeyed to Tython after the Great Galactic War and the Hutt Cartels' enslavement of Ryloth. He aided in the founding of Kalikori village, and after Vederiat Ayon, the healer, replaced Odumis Mer due to his unstable mental state, Bashenn was made captain of the guard. He harbored animosity towards the Jedi Order, resenting their perceived abandonment of the pilgrims to the dangers of the Flesh Raiders.
During the era of the Cold War, Bashenn was preparing the village of Kalikori for the Festival of Awakening. At this time, a Jedi Padawan approached him, inquiring about the location of Nalen Raloch, the village's champion guardian. Initially, Bashenn strongly resisted assisting a Jedi, citing his preoccupation with the impending festivities. However, the Padawan managed to persuade him that revealing Raloch's location was in his best interest. Ultimately, Bashenn relented and informed the Padawan about a camp Raloch maintained within Flesh Raider territory, where he speculated their protector could be found.
